The neighborhood place to pass things on

Give, sell and declutter with neighbors near you. Free to join, selling is free, and a small reservation fee means fewer no-shows.

Three ways to pass things on

Give it away

Post it free. Let the first neighbor take it, or let people say they're interested and choose who it goes to.

Sell for a fair price

Set your price. Buyers pay a small reservation fee when they commit, which means fewer no-shows.

Let neighbors bid

Not sure what it's worth? Set a low minimum and an end date. When it ends, the top bid gets it.

Just add photos. We'll do the rest.

Pick photos you already took. Sparegrove writes the title, picks a category and finds what it costs new. You set a price and post.

Coming for spring garage sale season

Running a garage sale? Put it online too.

  1. Post your sale and your best items

Add your dates and times, then snap your items. It's free.

  2. Neighbors reserve before they arrive

Set reserved things aside in the garage. Pickup happens during your sale hours.

  3. Leftovers, listed in one tap

When the sale's over, what didn't sell becomes listings or free giveaways.

Sellers keep every dollar

No seller fees. The price you set is what you get at pickup.

What you see is what you pay

Prices include the small reservation fee, so there are no surprises at pickup.

Things near you

No shipping and no waiting: pick things up from neighbors close by.

Have stuff to pass on? Be a founding neighbor.

Questions

Is it free?
Joining and selling are always free. Buyers pay a small reservation fee on paid items (from $0.50); free items have no fee.
Why a reservation fee?
It encourages people to show up. It's kept if a buyer doesn't show and refunded if the seller backs out or the item isn't as described.
When does it open?
We're starting in the Twin Cities and Chicago, neighborhood by neighborhood, where the most neighbors sign up. Somewhere else? Join anyway: we'll open new areas where enough neighbors sign up.
